This certification recognizes professionals with a strong foundation in Building Information Modelling (BIM) aligned with ISO 19650. It validates their knowledge of the key elements of information management, including stakeholder roles and the technological aspects for BIM implementation.

EARNING CRITERIA

Awarded to individuals who have successfully completed the self-paced course 'BIM Foundations' in accordance with ISO 19650, offered by Design Hub, and achieved a minimum pass mark of 70% on the course assessment.

SKILLS

 

  • Ability to define Building Information Modeling (BIM), including its industry benefits and levels of adoption.

 

  • Understanding of the evolution of BIM, from the UK's BIM Level 2 to the international ISO 19650 standards.

 

  • Competence in identifying key BIM technologies, including CDE, open BIM standards, uses, model federation, clash detection, and COBie.

 

  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 terminology, concepts, and principles.
